MATTIAS TELL
Mattias Tell
Mattias Tell is a Swedish artist, songwriter, and producer known for blending Bon Iver's introspection, country storytelling, and The National's indie vibe. Guitar-driven and emotionally rich, his fragile alternative pop strikes a balance between intimate and expansive, captivating a broad audience.
Experience the Rock Dream
After studying classical guitar, Mattias made a bold U-turn back to the rock scene, becoming one of the most sought-after guitarists in Swedish indie rock over the past decade. Touring with Sweden's indie elite, his iconic contributions to Henrik Berggren's Wolf’s Heart and wild years with Timo Räisänen fueled his desire for a fresh creative direction.
From Forest Hideaway to Dream Studio
Retreating to a secluded forest home, Mattias built a state-of-the-art studio where he produced a smash hit country album for Idol winner Jay Smith, earning multiple gold records. Balancing roots in the indie scene with country influences, he began co-managing Kode Records alongside Marcus Berggren, showcasing exceptional production and songwriting talent.
