THE OVERVIEW ART COLLECTION

The shipbreaking yards on the Arabian Sea in Alang, India account for approximately half of all ships salvaged around the world. The Seawise Giant – the longest ship ever built, extending 458.5 metres (1,504 feet) – was taken here to be scrapped in 2009.
