This Overview captures the Port of Rotterdam in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands. From 1962 until 2002 it was the world’s busiest port, but was overtaken first Singapore and later Shanghai. In 2012, Rotterdam ranked as the world’s sixth-largest port in terms of annual cargo tonnage.
Photographed at an altitude of 600 km from outer space.
